Uniform policy change for 2027
As part of our review of the clubs financial commitments, we are taking the opportunity now to confirm well in advance an update to the clothing policy that will take effect from Term 1 2027.
From Term 1 2027 players selected for NWYC 1stXI Training Squad are required to purchase their own NWYC uniform with the current Club Sponsors, Lane Neave. Coloured playing shirts and pants are provided for T20 and One Day fixtures.
For clarity, that is:
- White playing shirt
- Training shorts
- Training shirt
- Training jacket
These can be purchased through Cricket Express please note there is a 6-8 week lead time on some of these items. The club may have some items so please check with your coach and manager.
Many players purchase these items as they move up through the club teams. The Committee appreciate that this is a significant cost outlay for those who have not previously purchased the training items. The NWYC Handbook has been updated to reflect this uniform change.
